DRAMA PRACTITIONER

I believe drama is at its best when people are given the space to experiment, take risks and discover things for themselves.

My practice is rooted in practical, inquiry-led learning. I use games, improvisation, physical work, ensemble exercises and text to help participants develop confidence, creativity and performance skills. I utilize the Frantic Methodology heavily in my practice, my workshop sessions are designed so that any individual of any skillset can participate.

My sessions are playful, challenging and supportive, with activities adapted to the needs, experience and interests of each group. I aim to create rehearsal rooms and workshop spaces where people feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and engaging fully with the work.

I am committed to creating drama spaces where young people feel safe, respected and listened to.

My freelance practice is informed by safeguarding guidance and professional standards for working with children and young people. I hold a PVG membership and maintain appropriate insurance for my freelance facilitation work.
